How to Add TO the Collection

Submissions

How can one make an archive from scratch? One cannot, but many can. The structure of the Milwaukee Women’s Art Library (MWAL) is built on tactics of circulation and collective discourse making submissions to the collection one of the most fundamental parts of the library and archive. Opening the aggregation of material to the public sphere expands the representation of the archive beyond my available resources and draws on the collective knowledge of the commons.

We are currently accepting physical and digital donations to the MWAL. Find out how to submit your materials.
